- 3 eggs
- 300 grams of castor sugar
- 300 grams of self-raising flour
- 150 grams of butter
- 180 ml of milk
- Pre-heat your oven to 180 °C (160°C fan).
- Melt the butter.
- In a large bowl or food processor beat together the eggs and sugar.
- Add to the flour, melted butter and milk to the egg and sugar mixture.
- Mix together well.
- Pour the cake mixture into your cake tin and bake for about 30 minutes (see note re times below).
